Refrigerator Issue

The refrigerator in my Wundermart shop has an issue

Dear Partner,

We’re sorry to hear about the issues with your fridge. To assist you, we have outlined the best routes to follow for resolution.

In general, the fridge is purchased by the hotel and therefore contact on maintenance needs to be done directly by you. Wundermart helps with monitoring the status of the fridges in the shops and can assist in finding the right contact with the Original Equipment Manufacturer.

We always advise to have your existing maintenance partner for refrigeration equipment in the hotel also tend to the fridges in the Wundermart shop.

During the Warranty period (depending on the manufacturer) you can reach out to the local contact of the manufacturer to have servicing done under the Warranty.

Information required by Carrier for a service call

  1. Issue with fridge
  2. Fridge serial number (see next item for details)
  3. Name of contact at hotel
  4. Tel/email of contact
  5. Address of hotel
  6. Invoice details of hotel
  7. Contact details for invoice

 

The fridge's serial number, which can be found on the upper right side of the fridge, as shown in the attached picture.

 

If the fridge you have in the shop is a of a different manufacturer, please let us know and we can advise on the right route but your existing maintenance partner would usually be best suited to assist you.

Very Important!

One common cause of fridge breakdowns is dust accumulation on the condenser (located at the bottom front of the fridge). Our support team regularly reminds partners to clean it, but we understand that emails can sometimes be missed during busy periods.

Additionally, to ensure your fridge operates efficiently and avoid issues like increased energy consumption or cooling problems, we recommend regularly cleaning the condenser coils. Dust and debris can accumulate over time, affecting the fridge’s performance.
